Why has the BXN production rate changed?
On the previous blockchain, node BXN production was halved every 6 million blocks, resulting in a 50% reduction in BXN production.
With the switch to the new blockchain, the tokenomics were adjusted slightly:
Halving now takes place every 15 million blocks, as the block time has been reduced to around 2 seconds.
The initial production rate before the first halving is about 50% lower than before.
Instead of a 50% decrease per halving, production now decreases by about 30%.
Over a 10-year period, the total amount of BXN staking rewards distributed remains identical to that of the previous blockchain.
