Snapshot Details

A snapshot of all BXN token balances will occur at block #12977777 on February 25, 2025, precisely at 09:44:18 AM Dubai Time (UTC+4). This snapshot captures each wallet’s BXN balance, ensuring a 1:1 token swap on the new chain.


Token Swap Ratio

Holders will receive 1 new BXN token for every 1 old BXN they currently hold. There is no change in token supply or distribution; it’s purely a migration to a new chain ID 488.


How Holders Can Swap
No User Action Required

BXN holders do not need to perform any manual swap. All balances will be migrated automatically at the snapshot.

Steps for Users Post-Migration:

  1. Add the New Network to Your Wallet

  2. Use BlackFort Wallet as Usual

    • The BlackFort Wallet will automatically integrate the new blockchain. No extra steps are needed.

  3. Do Not Send Old BXN Anywhere

    • Balances will be copied to the new chain at the time of the snapshot. Any old BXN tokens will cease to be functional post-migration.



Process for CEXs Coordinated Migration

All centralized exchanges (CEXs) listing BXN must coordinate with the BlackFort team to:

  • Implement the new Chain ID 488

  • Suspend deposits and withdrawals during the snapshot window

  • Resume operations once the new BXN tokens have been distributed



Important Steps for CEXs

  1. Suspension of Deposits & Withdrawals

    • To ensure accurate balances, CEXs should disable BXN deposits and withdrawals before block #12977777.

  2. Snapshot & Recognition

    • Exchanges must recognize token holdings at the snapshot block on February 25, 2025.

  3. Use the New Chain

    • Post-migration, all BXN trading should occur only on Chain ID 488. The old mainnet should be considered abandoned.

  4. Airdrop of New BXN

    • Once the new tokens are live, CEXs will receive 1:1 new BXN tokens based on the snapshot.



Holders & CEXs Swap via Airdrop – Airdrop Timing Immediate Airdrop Post-Snapshot

The token migration (airdrop) begins immediately after block #12977777 on February 25, 2025. Users can expect:

  • Migration Completion: 4–5 hours after the snapshot

  • Exchange Notification: CEXs will be informed once new tokens are fully distributed



Can Users Swap After February 25, 2025?

Automatic & Final Swap

The BXN token swap occurs automatically during the 4–5 hour migration window after the snapshot. There will be no further manual swap available afterward. Post-migration:

  • Old BXN tokens become non-transferable or invalid.

  • New BXN tokens on Chain ID 488 will be the sole recognized version of BXN.

Exchange Coordination is Crucial



CEXs must have:

  • Suspended deposits/withdrawals before the snapshot

  • Updated their systems to Chain ID 488

  • Recognized the new BXN tokens once the swap is done

Any delays in preparation could disrupt user balances or trading activity. Hence, exchanges are strongly advised to coordinate well in advance.
